Venue: 5 Chillies (The most superb views you can imagine, Very comfortable indeed)
Ambience: Just fantastic, you will not find better in this location or other for that matter

Hudson’s is located on the well known wine farm, Vredenheim which is just next door to Spier Estate on the R310 in Stellenbosch. The Reception building is an old restored farm building which oozes character & charm. The building houses both a restaurant and the Hudson’s Wedding Reception area. The Pub is the original Pub counter from Cape town Station, a wonderful spot to chat. The reception area has been very tastefully decorated and is well suited for Weddings.
Stunning gardens complete the picture with views of stunning mountains in the background. The gardens and lakes create a perfect backdrop for Ceremonies with many ideal locations for photographers. The Owners have many years of experience and can also hire out decorations for those finishing touches. This lovely venue is bound to continue to be a popular Winelands Wedding Venue. Reasonable packages. Hudons cater for up to 150 Guests.

Comments: Although part of the Vredenheim Farm, Hudson’s stand alone in a lovely, restored farm building which houses a Restaurant, full Kitchen, fantastic Pub and the Reception area – along with reasonable packages this venue is an ideal wedding location.

Purpose built Wedding/Function Centre with stunning views to the South of Table Mountain and the majestic Helderberg as a backdrop for your Ceremony, this newish venue is stunning. The inside space is light and airy with a Thatch roof to keep you cool in summer and warm in Winter. Large ornate candelabra’s finish off the reception room in style. The venue caters for weddings up to 150 guests. The garden is near perfect and will bloom by 2012 season. A fountain and the majestic Helderberg create a wonderful feel for this dedicated team. In-house accommodation is situated just across the road, literally. A must see Venue and hard to resist in my view.
Lau-Sanne and her team are dedicated and flexible and will help you design the perfect wedding to suit your budget. They can provide a one stop shop or you can bring in your own decorator for the finer details, if you wish. This venue is the perfect canvass for anyone with just a little creativity. You will be impressed by the views and the reception area. Although near to the road there is no way you will here anything with the thick walls typical of Cape Dutch homesteads. Don’t miss this venue. Reasonable rates.

Kleine Marie is a Castle like venue that is run by a family of real Pros. They are dedicated to making your Wedding Day a huge success. Located in the stunning Winelands area of Stellenbosch, this venue has most if not all the facilities you could want. Weddings are their business and it is easy to see why Kleine Marie is amongst the most popular. The venue is suited to wedding parties of over 80, smaller weddings will have plenty of space to Dance and party. They can easily accommodate up to 150 guests. The owners are knowledgable and very flexible.
Great flexibility and service are hallmarks of this fantastic venue. Prices seem reasonable and they have all the decorations you could wish for. What I liked is that they don’t charge for each and every little thing, which can be annoying…If you wish you even bring your own wine for a small fee. If you are looking for a Wedding Venue in the Stellenbosch area, this one deserves a visit.
